Wakesurf Toronto Giveaway Contest - Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility: The giveaway contest is open to individuals who are legal residents of Canada and are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Wakesurf Toronto and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. One lucky winner and 9 of their friends will be invited to join.
- Entry Period: The giveaway contest begins on April 21th and ends on May 21th. All entries must be received by the specified deadline to be eligible for consideration.
- Entry Method: To enter the contest, participants must visit the Wakesurf Toronto website and complete the specified actions outlined in the giveaway overview. Each completed action will earn the participant one entry into the contest.
- Prize: The prize consists of a Full-Day Excursion with Wakesurf Toronto, valued at $1500 CAD. The excursion includes 4 hours of charter time on Lake Ontario, featuring wakesurfing, island hopping, and a barbecue spread. The excursion will be video recorded and photographed by the Wakesurf Toronto team for marketing purposes.
- Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. The winner will be notified via email or direct message within 7 days of the contest end date.
- Prize Acceptance: The selected winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within 48 hours of notification. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow Wakesurf Toronto to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation. The price cannot be accepted as cash value.
- Cancellation and Date Changes: In the event that the winner needs to cancel or request a date change for the Full-Day Excursion, they must notify Wakesurf Toronto at least 4 days in advance of the scheduled charter date. Failure to provide timely notice may result in forfeiture of the prize, and the giveaway charter may be awarded to another group.
- General Conditions: Wakesurf Toronto reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway contest at any time without prior notice. By participating in the contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the decisions of Wakesurf Toronto, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
- Release of Liability: By entering the contest, participants release and hold harmless Wakesurf Toronto, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.
- Governing Law: The giveaway contest and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada
